Great Workouts You Can Do at Home Without Equipment

Bang Bang workout time! We often set alarms on our phones and yes most of time we ignore them. If we are tired and cranky, as well as lacking the usual exercise equipment, it can be burdensome to get up and exercise.  

It’s easy to bunk for a day or two at home but if you are attached to the gym your trainers can get you back to your routine fairly quickly. However, not everyone can afford to o to the gym regularly due to busy schedules or even money constraints. That does not mean that you can not look after your physical health.

Here are some equipment free exercises, recommended by world renowned trainers. These exercises can help you improve your health, lose weight, and get the body of your dreams.

  1. Push-ups

One of the classic exercises is PUSH-UPS, which strengthen your muscles and works as wonder for your core. Here is how you can do it easily in comfort of your home.

Get in high-plank position and put your hands flat on floor. Your shoulders should be width apart. Then set your wrists under your shoulders and keep your body inline position. Here it is also important to engage your core. First, inhale and bend your arms towards your chest on floor or bend your arms so that your chest reaches the ground. Then lower your knees to floor and repeat it. Also exhale when you push back towards starting position. (Repeat 3 to 5 sets with 15 repetition for each set)

  • Crunches

Traditionally crunches are thought to be the best abdominal exercise. Many believed that crunches are most effective to tighten up tummy and burn belly fat. New studies show that it helps strengthen your core and loosen belly muscles.

Here is how you can easily perform it in your home. Lay down on ground, put your feet on floor (hip-width apart) and then bend your knees. Then put your arm across your chest and contract your abs and start inhaling. Follow by exhaling and lift your upper body up. Keep your head relaxed and inhale again. Return to starting position. Repeating 3 to 5 sets with 15 to 20 repetitions is more than enough.

  • Zumba/Dancing

Zumba or free style dancing is very effective if you are looking to burn calories. Studies shows that in one hour you can burn 300 to 900 calories depending on intensity of your dance. It helps in weight loss and you can meet your body goals in no time. Best thing about ZUMBA is that you don’t need any equipment. All you need is good music. It also boosts your mood and you are free to do any moves of your choice.
