The Chicago Auto show has been the biggest in the entirety of North America since it was first staged in March 1901.  From that moment on, it has become the biggest platform in the continent for car enthusiasts. Every year, car fanatics from every corner of the world gather in the Chicago McCormick Place Convention Center and geek over the latest car models, prototypes of what cars might look in the future, as well as the antique cars of the past. This gathering also serves as a huge opportunity for car dealers to come and secure the best deals as there is no other place in the world where they will be able to find such devoted customers for cars.

This year marked the 112th installment of the show. The event lasted for 2 weeks, starting from February 8th till February 17th and displayed almost 1000 vehicles. Along with new models, prototypes, and vintage cars,  there were also some redesigns of the existing models. And while we hope that each of these 1000 vehicles left the viewers completely amazed, there are some exceptions that everyone couldn’t stop talking about. Even after 13 years and being driven around for 1000,000 miles, the pick-up truck is in brand new condition with Murphy saying that it has required only minimal repairs since 2007 and he changes the oil after every 10,000 miles. Nissan, known for promoting its vehicles for being long-lasting and tough, used this as a marketing opportunity and considering the roads of Chicago, it sure is remarkable that the pickup truck is in such good condition.
